Description
Be Cool in Gannawarra focused on vulnerable populations of under 5 years olds and over 65-year-olds. The project focused on improving the service that are able to provide clients in Home and Community Care and Maternal Child and Health assessments to include heat as a vulnerability identifier.
Outcomes:
- Completion of Heat Health Plan review
- Increased knowledge and capacity of Home and Community Care and Maternal Child Health workforce to assess heat vulnerability in their clients homes
- Improved heat health resources for Home and Community Care and Maternal Child Health clients.
- Improved heat health promotional materials, including a heat health media clip that focuses particularly on young children and older people.
