This report provides an update on the growth of Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) across Australia and shares insights into current market sentiment. The data in this report results from a survey of SDA providers in October and November 2020.

In response to the survey, 57 SDA providers supplied information about their pipeline of SDA. There are now more than 1,800 new SDA places in the construction pipeline as at 10 November 2020. The continued growth of SDA supply is a finding that is sure to be welcomed by people with disability, policy makers and the sector more broadly.
