Description
The NSW Parliamentary Research Service has published the latest unemployment and JobSeeker estimates for all 93 NSW electorates (December 2023). The publication shows headline data for each electorate and enables comparison of electorates using maps and tables.
Unemployment rates in NSW electorates ranged from 1.1% in Terrigal to 9.7% in Fairfield. Unemployment rates were highest in the South West Sydney (4.4%), Blacktown-Parramatta (4.0%) and Illawarra Shoalhaven (3.9%) regions.
JobSeeker rates in NSW electorates ranged from 1.1% in Davidson to 11.8% in Barwon. JobSeeker rates were highest in the North Coast (8.4%), North West NSW (7.6%) and South West Sydney (6.0%) regions.
