Description

This report analyses results from a national survey of over 1,000 Australians to understand the current state of disability confidence and awareness within Australian workplaces. The results revealed that:

  • Sixty per cent of Australians are not aware of workplace adjustments.
  • Only 2 in 5 people believe workplace adjustments are easy.
  • Most people are unsure about the costs and benefits of putting workplace adjustments in place.

Making workplace adjustments is simple, cost-effective and benefits everyone, but this report reveals relatively low levels of awareness and confidence in making adjustments. The report includes links to free resources and services employers can access to support people with disability at work.
