Introduction: Alcohol-related violence, and in particular violence in and around licensed premises, has been at the forefront of debate in NSW politics in recent years. Some of these measures were incorporated into legislation that was passed on 30 January 2014: the Liquor Amendment Bill 2014 and the Crimes and Other Legislation Amendment (Assault and Intoxication) Bill 2014.
