This report explores the vital role these standards play in supporting product safety across the country. It outlines how Australian businesses can navigate an evolving product safety landscape shaped by legal responsibilities, consumer expectations and emerging risks.

This position paper provides an overview of the cyber security landscape, highlighting the increasing frequency and sophistication of cyber-attacks. It explores key Australian and international standards and regulatory frameworks, making four recommendations to to enhance Australia’s cyber posture.

The growing use of artificial intelligence (AI) and conversations around unlocking its true benefits have prompted the development of this discussion paper.
