The transition towards a low-carbon future is a pressing issue, and household electrification has emerged as a critical component of Australia’s ongoing shift in energy use. This report provides a snapshot of where Australian households currently stand.

This research was commissioned by the Federation of nine Councils on the Ageing (COTA) across Australia – including all eight COTA state and territory organisations and COTA Australia – to understand the views, life experiences and needs of Australians aged 50+.

This report presents the findings of research into Australian retail investors’ motivations, attitudes and behaviours. The results provide a point-in-time snapshot of the period following the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
