This document reports all anthropogenic (human-induced) emissions and removals of greenhouse gases in New Zealand. The 2021 inventory contains the emissions and removals data from 1990 to 2019, major emissions trends, and methodology used by New Zealand for estimating its emissions and removals.

The Ministry for the Environment and the Department of Conservation have published key themes from submissions made during the consultation on the proposed National Policy Statement for Indigenous Biodiversity.
