The Leeuwin-Naturaliste Sub-regional Planning Strategy is an overarching planning document that outlines the Western Australian Planning Commission’s approach to future planning and development within the City of Busselton and the Shire of Augusta-Margaret River.

The Western Australian Transport and Planning Minister has released the revised State Planning Policy 5.4: Road and Rail Noise (SPP5.4) and associated guidelines for public comment.

The WAPC has endorsed a draft update to the Guidelines for the Lifting of Urban Deferment - that specify requirements for a transfer of land from the urban deferred to urban zone in a region planning scheme. The draft guidelines are open for public comment until 29 Sep 2017.
