This paper discusses a framework used to develop measures of accessibility that take into consideration the travel behaviour of individuals in addition to other factors that are sensitive to transport and urban planning policies.

Despite the pace at which South Australia is ageing, there is still no overall plan for providing for transport needs of older people. The overall objective of the study was to conduct an audit of older people's transport needs and requirements, taking account of future demographic changes.

This paper presents a case study for Sydney involving the evaluation of likely impacts of transport policies aimed at mitigating the environmental impacts of urban freight transport.
