Researchers face significant challenges to finding and using archival collections relevant to their interests. For this project, OCLC was responsible for conducting research to illuminate the needs of both archival researchers and cultural heritage institutions regarding finding aid aggregation and evaluating the quality of existing finding aid data at scale.

The Australian Academy of the Humanities led the development of this report (focused on Australia) for the World Humanities Report, an international collaborative initiative which seeks to provide insight into where and how the humanities are practiced around the globe.

This discussion paper considers and questions how 'Protocol 5: Description and Classification of The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Protocols for Libraries, Archives and Information Services' could guide Wikimedia projects and assist Wikipedia and Wikidata editors to describe Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander content in a self-determined and culturally appropriate manner.

This report illustrates how quantitative analysis of library collection and activity data can be leveraged by library leaders to inform decisions about collaborative opportunities supporting art research collections.
