This report outlines the results of a national survey measuring levels of diversity (in gender, gender identity, cultural background, disability status and sexual orientation) on screen and behind the camera in Australian university capstone or culminating screen production units during 2019.

This rapid evidence review was commissioned in 2019 to summarise evidence about the process of building social inclusion in Aotearoa New Zealand. The review identifies evidence for six important ways to help make New Zealand more socially inclusive.

In this study, the authors examined measures of exposure to local cultural diversity based on where people work as well as where they live. Their measure of cultural diversity is based on country of birth, with ethnicity breakdowns for the New Zealand (NZ) born.
