The authors conducted research in Lae for three weeks in April to explore the connections between women’s experiences of seeking support to address family and sexual violence (FSV) in their lives, and their children’s wellbeing and opportunities for education.

This research forms part of Plan International Australia’s Free to Be project, which encourages young women to map those spaces where they feel safe, happy and included – and conversely – where they feel unsafe, anxious or intimidated.

This report outlines BOCSAR's evaluation of the DVSAT screening tool (which is a key component of the Safer Pathway program), to see how reliable it is in identifying victims of domestic violence at high risk of repeat victimisation.
