This summary report provides a brief outline of the background, aims, methodology, findings and key recommendations of this research project, which is led by Aboriginal academics and funded by the Lowitja Institute.

Indigenous Australians are losing tens of millions of dollars to scammers every year. In this episode, we travel around the country to look at how online scams are being targeted to remote communities, and trace their story back beyond social media.

This study may provide carers, aged care centre managers and policy makers with information on the need of resources, funding, organised care plan and management, and cultural competency of carers to be considered to improve Aboriginal aged care protocols for integrating cultural care into practice.

Creating this strategy has provided detailed insights into the experiences of both practitioners and partners in the Australian screen industry. This process has provided an opportunity to review and translate the views of those who engage with the Indigenous Department into a meaningful and well-informed approach for improvement.
