First Nations burden of disease study 2022
This report presents a summary of the main findings from the First Nations Burden of Disease Study 2022 study, with estimates for previous years for comparison. It includes estimates for 220 diseases and injuries for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander population. Coronary heart disease remained the leading cause of burden in 2022.

Elevated blood pressure among adolescents in sub-Saharan Africa: a systematic review and meta-analysis
The findings in this study suggest that approximately one in ten adolescents have elevated blood pressure across sub-Saharan Africa. Accordingly, there is an urgent need to improve preventive heart-health programs in the region.
