Better cardiac care measures for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people: eighth national report 2023
This is the eighth national report on the 21 Better Cardiac Care measures for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. The level of access for cardiac-related health services is improving for First Nations people. While the mortality rate from cardiac conditions is falling among First Nations people, it is still higher than among non-Indigenous Australians.

Lowitja Institute was engaged to facilitate the needs assessment process to determine the Indigenous-specific priority areas for research into diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
