Children and young people have unique perspectives on the world around them and the spaces they frequent. This report provides insights from primary school students into what they see and how they connect to the world around them. It concludes neighbourhoods need to be child friendly and child safe.

This study evaluated the impact of the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) on dental visits among eligible children and adolescents in Australia. It showed that the CDBS policy had a statistically significant and positive impact on dental visits among eligible children and adolescents.

This report examines age assurance measures on social media platforms used by young Australians. It combines regulatory data from social media services with survey responses from Australian children to assess the effectiveness of age restrictions. It finds inconsistent policies and an overall lack of robust interventions are failing to keep children off social media.

This research report explores the contexts, care arrangements, and co-parenting experiences of children whose parents live apart, using data from the Longitudinal Study of Australian Children. It finds that socio-economic disadvantage is faced by children with parents living apart and recommends that policy and family services account for and address it.
