This report presents the findings from a process evaluation of the Justice Housing Program (JHP). JHP provides transitional accommodation for detainees exiting prison, who are assessed as suitable for independent, shared living. JHP is designed to assist clients in finding more permanent accommodation, as well as linking them to community services and other support networks.

The Australian Government is looking for new ways to support First Nations people who have been incarcerated to connect with employment services and assist them to move into work. This discussion paper and consultation guide have been released to assist people in providing feedback.

This research examines pre-prison experiences and post-release needs for the reintegration of CALD women in NSW prisons back into society. It also seeks to create an increased understanding of the needs of CALD women prisoners and to provide information for prison and stakeholders providing social services.

There is a significant evidence and policy gap in understanding and responding to post-release homelessness for people with disability. This rapid evidence review found a limited number of studies that were directly relevant to the research questions, indicating further research is needed that explicitly examines homelessness for justice-involved people with disability.

The Housing and Accommodation Support Initiative Plus (HASI Plus) is a program for people with severe mental illness and significant difficulties managing day to day living. The Ministry commissioned the Social Policy Research Centre (SPRC) to evaluate the HASI Plus program. This is the report of the evaluation.
