Despite its high potential, the building's sector lags behind in reducing its energy demand. Tremendous savings can be achieved by deploying building management services during operation, however, the manual deployment of these services needs to be undertaken by experts and it is a tedious, time and cost consuming task.

This research paper aims to contribute to the improvement of sustainable management of Peruvian buildings throughout the project lifecycle by integrating the Lean Construction philosophy and sustainability concepts through the Delphi method.

The Operation and Maintenance (O&M) stage is the most expensive phase during the life cycle of a building. Therefore, it is necessary to study the interaction between Lean principles and Building Information Modeling(BIM) Functionalities in the building during O&M phase to optimize resources.
