This report examines the economic cost of cancer in adolescents and young adults (AYAs) in 2016. For the purpose of this report, AYAs are defined as those people who are aged 15-25 years old in 2016.

This report highlights collective work in investigating heart health disparities among disadvantaged individuals and communities and innovative strategies that will reduce key inequalities.

This study estimates fatal and nonfatal disease burden among Indigenous Australians in 2011 and compares it with non-Indigenous Australians. Most of the disease burden was from chronic diseases (64%), particularly mental and substance-use disorders, injuries, cardiovascular diseases, cancer and respiratory diseases.
