This research is aimed at building an evidence base which supports investment across both housing and non-housing outcomes. This evidence base aims to strengthen the policy environment for housing as an essential piece of social and economic infrastructure.

In 2011, Pacific Link Housing negotiated a project with Housing NSW to renew the Dunbar Way social housing estate in North Gosford in return for management rights. This study evaluates the outcomes of the renewal including resident’s experience of social housing neighbourhood, their attitudes toward the built environment and their aspirations for the estate.
