The Couch Surfing Secondary Students (CSSS): Yarra Ranges Youth Homelessness Prevention Project has developed out of a research partnership between Anchor Youth Services, the Outer Eastern Local Learning and Employment Network (OELLEN), Swinburne University and the University of Western Australia Centre for Social Impact.

The aim of this research is to examine experiences in the management of youth work from the perspective of both youth workers and their managers.

Research undertaken by Swinburne University’s SISR between 2005 and 2013 explored impact of Youthworx, a practical, community-based, cross-sector response to the problem of youth marginalisation and social exclusion, on young people and the broader lessons for debates on social innovation, community media and creative economies, informal learning, opportunity and enterprise.
