The Green Climate Fund (GCF) is a lynchpin for global climate solidarity and plays an important role in supporting climate action in developing countries. The authors of this paper argue that Australia should rejoin the fund to further its own strategic climate objectives.

The Southeast Asian region presents a major opportunity for Australian business. The region and Australia share bright economic growth prospects, geographical proximity, and a need for trade diversification.
