This report summarises data from the 2017 Disability Markets Survey, the fifth in a longitudinal series of studies undertaken by National Disability Services to monitor change in the supply of disability services, business conditions and the operations of disability services providers in Australia.

The authors conducted research in Lae for three weeks in April to explore the connections between women’s experiences of seeking support to address family and sexual violence (FSV) in their lives, and their children’s wellbeing and opportunities for education.

This partnership strategy was formulated by Yarra Neighbourhood Houses and representatives of Yarra City Council. The Neighbourhood Houses and Council have a mutual goal to engage with the Yarra community in determining the provision of equitable recreational, social, vocational training, environmental and other health and wellbeing opportunities.
