The review analysed the effect of the Point of Consumption Tax (POCT) on wagering operators, the racing industry in Victoria and Australia’s major sporting codes. It considers the effect of the tax on wagering and betting during the first twelve-months following the implementation of the POCT – that is, the 2019 calendar year.

The research findings from this study aim to inform the development and implementation of policy and practice responses to prevent and reduce gambling-related harms in Australia.

This qualitative study investigated the relationship between gambling and violence by men against their female intimate partners. It also found that further gambling-related harm (including economic abuse) is enabled by current protocols of gambling operators and financial institutions.

Through one-on-one interviews with people with an intellectual disability, and focus groups with supporters of people with an intellectual disability, this study aims to broaden the understanding of the risks gambling may have on someone with an intellectual disability.

This survey looks at changes in health risk behaviours post-lockdown (Alert Level 1). This survey includes information on alcohol, tobacco, gambling and mental wellbeing.
