The New Zealand Productivity Commission has completed its inquiry into the economic contribution of New Zealand’s most productive 'frontier' firms, and presented this final report with recommendations to government.

Australia’s economy, like that of almost all other rich countries, is increasingly dominated by its service sector. This paper sheds light on the evolution of the services sector in Australia, busts some common misconceptions about services, and highlights the challenges associated with services productivity measurement and growth.

This report uncovers further insights about effective initiatives to improve gender equality across Australia’s workplaces, by identifying the top performers who have consistently taken steps to improve gender equality outcomes over the last seven years.

Conceding that while the Canadian regional dynamic will never be fully immunised from economic inequities, the authors of this report believe that the proposals they outline will provide a workable, place-responsive, and efficient means of leveraging the post-COVID recovery as a catalyst for a stronger and locally-adapted entrepreneurial ecosystem.
