It asked about student and staff experiences of, and perceptions about, their university, their knowledge of policies to address racism, and whether they took precautionary actions to guard against racism.

Its findings highlight that racism is deeply embedded across Australian universities and has profound impacts on students and staff. Racism occurs at similar rates at all Australian universities, confirming it is a systemic issue. The report makes 47 recommendations to Government and universities.
