This report is the final of a two year evaluation of the project that focussed on the impact of the project on residents and the efficacy of the Wired Community@Collingwood public housing project in forming the basis of a sustainable social enterprise.

Commissioned by consumer protection agencies across Australia, this report examines how consumers, traders and manufacturers respond to defective white goods, electronic goods and mobile phones. The report aims to inform education and compliance activities by identifying complex issues facing traders and consumers in relation to their statutory rights and obligations for warranties and refunds.
