High prevalence of elder abuse during the COVID-19 pandemic: risk and resilience factors
Before the COVID-19 pandemic, elder abuse affected one in 10 American older adults annually. This study found that one in five older persons in the study sample reported elder abuse, an increase of 83.6% from prevalence estimates before the pandemic.

Improving the digital inclusion of older Australians: the social impact of Be Connected
This evaluation found the 'Be Connected' program has had a significant impact on building the digital skills, confidence and online safety practices of older Australians. It finds that the program represents an appropriate, effective and efficient investment in the digital inclusion of older Australians.

Older adults and animal companionship
From July to October 2020, researchers connected with CP beneficiaries and volunteers to explore their experiences, perceptions and practices. The aim of the exploratory study was to reflect on the significant value of animals in the lives of older adults, and the important role of CP in facilitating these experiences.
