This report focuses on Indigenous injury deaths and their causes that occurred over a 5-year period (2011–12 to 2015–16). The report also examines long-term trends in injury deaths over a 15-year period.

The strategy has been designed as a blueprint for government agencies to put Aboriginal people at the centre of policy design and delivery, and to empower communities to determine their own futures.
