This After Action Review evaluated Australia's new Australian Warning System (AWS) following severe Queensland weather events including Tropical Cyclone Jasper. Using 307 stakeholder observations, five improvements were identified and recommendations emphasised clear roles, consistent messaging, and public education to improve emergency response effectiveness.
