The index presents the key indicators of housing insecurity in Victoria alongside social housing availability. It shows Victoria’s housing crisis has worsened across almost every key measure. The data shows surging rents, a ballooning social housing waitlist and thousands of people forced into homelessness because of family violence and housing stress. It provides three recommendations.

In response to an independent review of the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA), this second and final stage of the report looked at the structure, operations, technology, governance, culture and capability of the VCAA. It finds that the VCAA requires renewal in almost all areas of its operations and makes 11 recommendations.
