This report examines Commonwealth offences sentenced in Victoria’s adult courts in the five years to 30 June 2023. It identifies the agencies that prosecuted Commonwealth offences, the demographics of federal offenders, the sentence types imposed for Commonwealth offences and the most commonly sentenced Commonwealth offences in Victoria.

This research report describes the experiences of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with the criminal legal system in Western Australia, the Australian Capital Territory and Victoria. The findings confirm the lasting impacts of colonisation and intergenerational trauma, which create the conditions that lead Indigenous people into engagement with the criminal legal system.

This report examined whether there is transparent, accurate and meaningful public information about the progress of 110 major projects surveyed in Victoria. It found public reporting does not always provide enough information to give Parliament and the community a complete understanding of major projects’ performance.
