Improving the client experience and engagement with the not-for-profit sector

19 Jul 2017
Description

Not-for-profit organisations (NFPs) play an important role in Australian society with their services impacting a large number of vulnerable and disadvantaged Australians each year. The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) interacts with NFPs on a range of topics including employee obligations, Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT), Goods and Services Tax (GST) and Superannuation.

EY Sweeney was engaged by the ATO to complete quantitative and qualitative research with NFPs to understand the different types of NFPs and their characteristics, behaviours and needs – to ultimately help the ATO improve their relationship with the NFP sector. The research was conducted between November 2016 and May 2017.
