The 2018 Jean Hailes for Women’s Health Survey was the fourth annual survey implemented nationally to better understand the health needs and behaviours of women living in Australia. This survey was developed to help inform Jean Hailes’ future directions (including the annual national Women’s Health Week campaign) to target specific health needs most relevant to women living in Australia, as well as to optimise information provision.

The survey aimed to:

1. examine perceived gaps in women’s health information as identified by women

2. identify and understand future health needs of women living in Australia as identified by women

3. explore and describe current health knowledge and behaviours of women in Australia.
