This document identifies three intertwined areas within the local government portfolio that should be the focus for both LGNZ and the Government over the next three years. These areas are Three Waters Reform Programme, Resource Management Reform Programme and a Future of Local Government Programme. LGNZ also advocate for improved policy in the areas of democratic well-being, climate change, environment, housing and transport.
