Description

This document is designed to outline New Zealand's Policy Statement-Housing and Urban Development (GPS-HUD) which will be published in October 2021. Based on the feedback received, it is anticipated that further actions will be included and more detailed direction provided to Kāinga Ora, as well as other agencies.

It is hoped through the consultation process others outside of government will identify actions that they could take to support the direction and that this can also be included in the final GPS-HUD, acknowledging that realising better housing and urban outcomes will require a collaborative approach.
