Safety in gambling is under enormous scrutiny. It is a discussion taking place against a backdrop of change, with gambling becoming increasingly available to a population spending more and more time in digital spaces. 

To facilitate this discussion, Demos researchers held two roundtables with Playtech, one of the largest suppliers of gambling products in the world, bringing together the gambling industry with academics, policy-makers and charity experts. The objective was to share insights between all interested parties and reduce gambling-related harm.

This report provides an overview of these discussions and details the key themes that emerged. It also provides a suggested framework for future measures.
