Description

The Oranga Tamariki action plan aims to promote wellbeing for children, young people and families with the greatest needs, by enabling government agencies to work more effectively together and support whānau and communities.

The plan drives a shared accountability and monitoring framework across children’s agencies to improve the wellbeing of Oranga Tamariki priority populations and prevent the need for them to come into care or be involved with the youth justice system. It is also one of the mechanisms to support implementation of the Oranga Tamariki future direction plan.
