The Queensland Government is investing in women to improve their lives and create stronger communities. The Queensland Women’s Strategy 2022–27 sets out the government's 5-year plan.

This strategy document has been prepared to address 5 impact areas:

1. Economic security
2. Safety, health and wellbeing
3. First Nations women
4. Women with diverse backgrounds and experiences
5. Empowerment and recognition

The strategy is intended to provide a high-level framework for this work to take place over the next five years, and includes key commitments to drive the work to strengthen the status of women in Queensland. The strategy provides a basis for ensuring that policies and decisions are informed and influenced by women’s voices, both now and into the future.
