Description

A research and policy compendium of Australian and international case studies of good practice in addressing the United Nation's (UN's) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The SDGs provide a shared vision for a world where prosperity does not come at the expense of the planet, and where progress is equitable and enduring. The goals span economic, environmental, and social dimensions, recognising that these are deeply interconnected.

Case studies on all 17 SDGs are covered and informed by academic research and/or policy experience. The report provides empirical analysis and policy ideas for politicians and policymakers at the local, state and/or national government level plus wider publics. The aim is to socialise, promote and inform different constituencies as to the significance of the SDGs as a meta-policy program that seeks to enhance social, economic, environmental well-being for all at the local, regional and global scales.
