Description
A guide for service providers that supports child and family service organisations to understand whether their programs and services are working, for whom and why – and how they can be strengthened over time. It aims to help practitioners and organisations build knowledge and skills to understand and apply monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) processes in their everyday work.
MEL is an approach that uses various processes and tools to:
- track the implementation of a program
- understand its impacts on communities
- use the insights gained to improve how a program is designed and delivered.
The guide has been designed to be used together with the Evidence-informed practice compass to support a continuous improvement approach.
