Positive attitudes towards ethnic-racial identity (ERI) is a key factor in Aboriginal Australian children’s development. This study aims to offer evidence of construct and criterion validity, reliability, and measurement invariance of a brief measure of Aboriginal children’s ERI affirmation.

Transnational news and multicultural Australia: cultural diversity and news in Australia
Australians from culturally diverse backgrounds often feel frustrated about media coverage of news events and issues that portray them in a negative light. This study, analysing media coverage of issues related to multicultural Australia found, that more than a third of stories reflected a negative view of minority communities.
