Amanda Lawrence

Amanda Lawrence is a researcher and librarian working across the areas of research communications and publishing, digital collecting, open scholarship, grey literature, knowledge infrastructure and public policy. She is currently completing a PhD on research communications and public policy in the Media and Communications department at RMIT University. Amanda was the Director of Analysis & Policy Observatory (APO.org.au), an award-winning public policy research database, from 2006 until 2018, where she secured and managed a number of Australia Research Council Linkage and Infrastructure (LIEF) grants and the Grey Literature Strategies Linkage project (2012-2015). Amanda has worked in various roles in the book and cultural sector including establishing the Literature Residency Program and the Author Touring Program at the Asialink Centre, University of Melbourne. She has a Graduate Diploma in Library and Information Management from RMIT University and an Arts Degree with Honours from the University of Melbourne.
