The CRC Low Carbon Living Launch included a Workshop for CRC LCL Participants with the aim to update participants on the CRC, its plans to date and to obtain their input into what they want to be included in the CRC LCL Research projects. Program 3: Engaged Communities presented "Pathways to built environment emissions reductions".

Ageing in place: providing supportive environments for older men
This paper focuses on findings from individual neighbourhood ‘walking interviews’ with five older men. The aim is to explore the men’s perspectives about the environmental components that make urban neighbourhoods desirable places in which to live. This research is part of a larger study on ageing and natural environments currently underway.

Healthy Built Environments: Stakeholder engagement in evidence based policy making
Effecting change in the built environment to enhance human health is proving difficult. Our paper reports research which investigates these issues. The objectives were to identify key stakeholders engaged in healthy built environment policy development.
