Evaluating the feasibility of the participant-led video intervention to train support workers from the perspective of disability sector professionals

This study evaluates participant‑led videos (PLVs) as a co‑designed tool to improve disability support quality. After a one‑day training workshop, sector professionals confidently produce PLVs with participants. Findings show PLVs centre participant voice, reduce misrepresentation, support autonomy and offer a feasible, scalable approach warranting further investment and outcome research.

Enliven Community is a shared support facilitation model which includes facilitators who help National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants coordinate their support and communicate with providers. This independent evaluation explored residents' experiences with the Enliven Community Pilot Project and assessed its effectiveness in achieving positive outcomes.

Adults with disability as the result of an acquired neurological disorder often have varying and complex support needs. Consequently, adults with complex needs often require paid support to enable them to exercise choice and control and participate fully and effectively in society.
