Sustaining professional learning outcomes: evaluating the effectiveness of ‘booster’ interventions
Professional learning is a commonly used strategy for helping teachers develop the skills and knowledge they need to use evidence-based practices in the classroom. This report presents the findings of a randomised trial in 17 primary and secondary schools in Western Australia examining the effectiveness of scalable 'booster' interventions as a follow-up to professional learning.

ReachOut PeerChat is an online, peer-led chat service designed to support young people who are facing mental health concerns and everyday challenges. The evaluation demonstrates that the service is achieving significant positive outcomes and highlights the unique and important role of peer work in mental health.

This report considers the appropriateness of a national professional practice network for teachers and educators working in early childhood education and care and outside school hours care. The report reviews existing professional practice networks and considers whether a national network would add meaningful value. It provides five recommendations.

Considering the need for congruence in Closing the Gap, target 10: reducing high rates of adult Aboriginal incarceration
This article examines congruence between federal, state and local initiatives to reduce Aboriginal incarceration through the lens of a place-based regional service. The article determines that the multi-level efforts are not intersecting. It recommends improving agreement in communication to increase the likelihood of achieving the desired outcomes of reduced Aboriginal incarceration rates in regional settings.
