The Department of Health, in partnership with an Aboriginal Advisory Group, has produced this resource for all Aboriginal mums, dads and carers who want to help their kids have strong, safe and healthy relationships.

This report presents findings from a study into how and why young New Zealanders view online pornography. One in four young people first saw porn by the age of twelve, and three out of four young people have seen porn by the age of seventeen. Recommendations include regulation, education, and tools and information.

This research found a growing evidence base showing that adolescents’ use of pornography can negatively influence their knowledge about sex, safe sex practices, gender roles, and could lead them to have unrealistic expectations about sex.

The 1st National Survey of Secondary Teachers of Sexuality Education involved nearly 300 secondary school teachers from every jurisdiction in Australia including government, Catholic and independent schools.
