Early Childhood Hubs (ECHs) are a leading integrated model that can fill a major gap in the current early years landscape. ECHs are configured to overcome many barriers to accessing and participating in early education and care. This brief provides an overview of the key findings related to the efficacy of ECHs.

This paper draws on the OECD's experience working with countries to develop and implement best practice principles for regulatory impact assessment (RIA). It presents a reference methodology and recommendations for national regulatory authorities to systematically adopt RIAs. The methodology provides a complete toolkit covering problem identification through to implementation.

This study reveals more Australians are being harmed by gambling amid rising participation. Any policy seeking to address gambling harm must consider links between riskier gambling and mental health, financial stress and intimate partner violence. Future policy should be underpinned by and evaluated from a routine national gambling prevalence study.

Government departments across Australia have started integrated reporting on outcomes into their funding agreements, as have many philanthropic funders. Yet, for funders, being intentional about the purpose and method of measurement is important. The article identifies five common reasons. For each, the article describes what they are and the implications for how outcomes are measured.
