This trauma-informed book showcases the lived experience of suicide and suicidal behaviour of serving and ex-serving Australian Defence Force members, and their families. These experiences, which have been at the heart of the Royal Commission during its inquiries, were bravely and generously shared through submissions and evidence.

In 2022, WorkSafe (New Zealand) completed a project to collect data and increase understanding about work-related suicide. The research found that 12 per cent of suicides were work-related and recommendations for future research and prevention are presented.
